Visits & electronic travel authorisation (ETA)

Planning a holiday, a family visit or business meetings? Start with the permission your nationality and travel plans require.

What to consider

An ETA is travel authorisation for eligible visitors; it is not a visa and does not guarantee admission. Other travellers may need a Standard Visitor visa. Visits are normally limited to six months and must stay within the permitted activities.

How we can help

We can discuss your travel purpose, funding, accommodation and circumstances at home, and help organise appropriate evidence for a visitor application.

Skilled Worker & dependant applications

For people taking up an eligible sponsored role with a UK employer.

What to consider

The Skilled Worker route requires an approved sponsor, a Certificate of Sponsorship and a qualifying role. Salary and other requirements depend on the circumstances. A job offer alone does not confirm eligibility.

How we can help

We can review the proposed role and application information, advise on supporting evidence and help with an initial application, extension or eligible dependant application. Immigration advice does not include finding a job or guaranteeing sponsorship.

Student visas

For applicants preparing to study with a licensed UK education provider.

What to consider

A Student application involves your course offer, Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), financial circumstances and relevant English language requirements. The documents needed vary between applicants.

How we can help

We can help you understand the application process, review the information against your CAS and organise the evidence relevant to your circumstances.

After your studies: the Graduate route

Explore your options after completing an eligible UK course.

What to consider

Graduate applicants must apply from within the UK and meet the route requirements, including holding the appropriate Student permission and having successful completion reported by their education provider.

How we can help

We can discuss application timing, the information you need and how your longer-term plans may fit with other routes. Check the official guidance for the permission length applicable to your application date.

Partner, fiancé & family applications

Support for couples and families preparing their next chapter together.

What to consider

The relevant application depends on your relationship, the UK family member’s status and whether you are applying from abroad or within the UK. Evidence and financial requirements need to be considered for the specific route.

How we can help

We can help organise relationship and supporting documents, explain the proposed application work and support family visa extensions or eligible switching applications.

Extending your stay & changing routes

Plan your next application before your existing permission expires.

What to consider

Whether you can extend or switch depends on your present permission and the route you intend to use. Some routes do not allow an extension or an application to switch from inside the UK.

How we can help

Tell us your current route, expiry date and intended plans. We can review the relevant next steps and explain the information needed before you proceed.

Settlement & British citizenship

Understand the difference between indefinite leave to remain and becoming British.

What to consider

Settlement and citizenship are separate applications. Your route, immigration history and personal circumstances determine what needs to be assessed; a previous visa approval does not mean that either application is automatic.

How we can help

Our support includes organising immigration history, reviewing relevant residence and absence information, and preparing the agreed settlement, naturalisation or child registration application.

Employer sponsorship & Certificates of Sponsorship

Practical support for businesses recruiting eligible overseas workers.

What to consider

A sponsor licence and a worker’s visa are distinct parts of the process. Employers need to consider their suitability to sponsor, the proposed job, who will manage the licence and their ongoing responsibilities.

How we can help

We can assist with licence application preparation, supporting business documents and CoS enquiries. Each enquiry is reviewed against the business, proposed role and scope of work agreed with you.
