1961 Apostille Convention abolished the requirement of traditional long and costly legalisation process for foreign public documents,with the issuance of a single Apostille certificate by a Authorised body in the country where the document issued.

Education Certificates
Education certificates that will be submitted for legalisation must be signed, certified, and dated by a UK solicitor or notary public, or a British Council representative. If the British Council certifies it, it must be an authentic educational qualification certificate. Please check with your local British Council first, as this service is not accessible everywhere.
Medical Records
When providing a medical document for Apostille certificate that must be signed by a medical practitioner and it must include the signatory’s contact information, including their email address, in the application. This is necessary in the event that when legalisation office need to contact with them to confirm their signature.
